Automattic, the company that develops the blogging tool WordPress and operates the WordPress.com blogging platform, has launched a new AI-based tool that can write blog posts completely on its own. The new tool is called “Jetpack AI Assistant,” and users can instruct the tool to write blog posts on various topics. In addition, users can specify the tone in which the post should be written, such as “formal,” “provocative,” or “humorous.” The tool can also translate text, currencies, and other content between twelve different languages. Jetpack AI Assistant is available for free to all WordPress users who have their blogs on WordPress.com. Whether it will be disclosed in the blog post that it was written entirely or partially by an AI is not mentioned.
